Sacred Spaces
This poem has mutliple inspirations: a two-day Team Retreat for a small organisation that is looking to enhance the quality of communication and interaction between its members; a two-day Workshop about Corporate Rituals – all in the same week!
Sacred Spaces
How can I open a space,
Within myself,
And within our circle,
That we could call sacred,
That would be filled with light
And the groundness of trust,
Where my full self would be present,
Where your full self would present?
The physical space must be tended.
And the individuals must be prepared,
When the chimes sound
And the candles are lit,
To enter the space of not knowing,
The space of full knowing
At least for a short while.
